Police Appreciation
Student leaders from the BES Leadership Club created a poster and sweet treats to show appreciation for the BPD, and especially, our school resource officers at their May meeting! Leaders greeted the Officers in the school office to present the poster and treats during morning announcements, and thank them for all they do to make our school feel safe.  READ MORE...

Relay for Life
Relay for Life
Bellefontaine Elementary students raised $1,551 for Relay for Life this year. Toys were donated to the Children's Hospital and the remaining $1,351 to The Logan County Cancer Society. Our students at Bellefontaine Elementary are truly superheros! Thank you for all the support.   READ MORE...
Dino Night Reading
Over 65 families enjoyed an evening filled with Dino-Mite reading excitement on April 24th. Students collected dinosaur stickers at each reading station and then visited the book fair. Families also learned creative ways to read with their children at home.   READ MORE...

Every Child Is An Artist ~Picasso Bellefontaine Elementary had over 100 families attend the art show on April 24th. From a black light exhibit, to pottery creations, paintings, and drawings; students were excited to share their creations with their families.   READ MORE...

Power of Positive Students
Each quarter, Bellefontaine Elementary School celebrates academic & character development accomplishments during a Power of Positive Students (POPS) Assembly. An influential community leader is invited to pass out certificates during each assembly. Third Grade Guarantee
In kindergarten through grade three, Bellefontaine City Schools will evaluate all children to determine if they are reading as well as they should be.
