Bellefontaine Elementary is piloting a new Leadership Club to help their youngest students explore leadership! Students who stayed after school learned about their circle of control through crafts and play. Student leaders also did an outreach activity and enjoyed a snack! Kindergarten Screening

Children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2019 are eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2019-2020 school year. Parents are encouraged to register an eligible child by calling Bellefontaine Elementary at 599-4331 before March 22, 2019. Dates: April 8 - April 11, 2019 Time: Approximately a 30-minute appointment between the hours of 8:30 to 3:00 Where: First Lutheran Church Address: 208 West Sandusky Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio Please bring the following when you come: -Child -Child’s birth certificate -Recent photo of your child -Social Security card (optional) -Custody paperwork (if applicable) -Immunization record (by health dept. or by doctor) -Proof of residency (A copy of a gas bill, electric bill, rental agreement showing parent name and address)  READ MORE...

Each quarter, Bellefontaine Elementary School celebrates academic & character development accomplishments during a Power of Positive Students (POPS) Assembly. An influential community leader is invited to pass out certificates during each assembly. Third Grade Guarantee

In kindergarten through grade three, Bellefontaine City Schools will evaluate all children to determine if they are reading as well as they should be.
