Bell Ringing Assembly

The Bellefontaine Elementary School recently conducted their first of three “Bell Ringing Ceremonies.” The Bell Ringing Ceremony is to recognize those students who exemplify the school vision each and every day: Be Kind, Be a Leader, Be Responsible for Yourself. For the first ceremony, students were nominated by their classroom teachers with one student from each classroom being awarded. Students who were recognized were invited to the front of the gym to ring a large bell. They received a special t-shirt to wear so others can easily see these Chieftain leaders and their nomination was read to the rest of the students in their grade level. For the next two bell ringing ceremonies, students will be nominated by non-classroom teachers and support staff.   READ MORE...
